This is Val as cowgirl. She is an original character by who first uploaded the lineart on dA and let us folks colour it. Well, i saw today that he's finished with the colouring at last, so i think i'm a little late. but considering the effort i put in this picture in the last three days, i couldn't save it to myself.
The background image is from an LP cover art by the celebrated Roger Dean. it's an LP from the '90s by "Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman, Howe", the former YES crew. it was too much blue on the upper side, so i reduced its opacity and put back a red to yellow gradient infra-background.

Lineart and character belongs to the awesome Go visit him. He's got beauuuuutiful works and the most beautiful pictures of Val, including the most beautiful coloured version of this one of course.

For a minute I thought DAMN! Your art had gotten better in a short while! I mean, your art's always improving with each artwork, I was astonished when I saw this. But the colour is AWESOME!!!!!! It's the best I've seen of yours yet! This actually deserves my first :+fav: on here ever! :w00t: :D

It's not a problem in the slightest. The colouring you do is what I like! :D Maybe you could try my G.D. - moment for a colour? It'd be sweet to see it done in that style! :D Or maybe some of my linearts? Anyway, yours is the first and only one I've faved here, as I make it a habit not to add many here. I want to only add the ones I REALLY like! So feel the honour, my friend, as you're more than worth the effort! :D

hmmm, i wasn't planning to tell this before i'm finished, but i've already been working on one of your linearts.:D i wanted it to be a surprise. so it's still gonna be a surprise, for i won't tell which one it is before i'm finished. but now that you call that, okay, i'll be trying to colour G.D. moment as well, sometime. I think it'll take a bit long. but it will be really enjoyable to work on it.:aww:
